Thanks to everybody for a glorious atmosphere and ambience at Prague´s club “Propojeni” (meaning Inter-connection). Unfortunately, we only have these few clips randomly shot during the night. Sound quality suffers due to space and limited resources but the live experience cannot be transmitted anyways – so just a glimpse and/or a reminiscence for those who were there.

01 – Sri Ram, Jai Jai Ram – smooth beginning. This is a beautiful mantra which guided Sri Ram Das to liberation. Despite Sri Ramana Maharishi´s instructions to ask “who am I?” he just kept singing this mantra over and over … well, why not?
02 – Gate Gate Paragate – A very powerful mantra from the Diamond/Heart Sutra: “Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi, Swaha! ” We took some musical liberties stemming out of the momentary situation – hoping no-one will get offended. We hold the highest respect for the Buddhist tradition and this is our way of sharing it.
03 – Gayatri Maha Mantra – needs no introduction, the inherent power needs no amplification nor embellishment. Gayatri Maha Mantra is one of the oldest and most powerful of all. Pure Yoga, no sentiment, just a straight prayer to the Ultimate. The whole rendition has 3 parts and takes approx 15 minutes – this is just a glimpse…
04 – Bhavani Jai Jai – starts out innocent but then kicks in wildly … well, what else would you expect from Shiva Himself…:-). Wonderful kirtan – sing-along / dance-along, about the unity of Shakti and Shiva (Energy and Consciousness). We gradually build it up, increasing tempo and energy all the way up to the ecstatic climax. Unfortunately, this cannot be transferred on any media… you just gotta be there!
We are looking forward to the next opportunity to share our passion for this “uplifting groove”.
